The "Vico Alto" residence has been created through the renovation of various rural buildings dating to the thirteenth and eighteenth centuries set upon a hill overlooking Siena, just a stone's throw from the two gates of the city, and served by public transport. The renovation of the residential complex has been carried out in strict respect of the original architecture, with the incorporation of all modern services, and the properties have been furnished with traditional and period pieces.
The area is south-facing and commands a fine panoramic view over Siena and the surrounding countryside.

The flats are located in two separate structures, known respectively as "Vico Alto" and "Cappella", and are made up of one or two bedrooms with double or twin beds, lounge, kitchen and bathroom, and almost all have private access to the garden. The kitchens are all fully-equipped for the preparation of breakfast or other meals. Guests are assured a comfortable and relaxing sojourn in our residence which, given its strategic position, is a stimulating location for lovers of art, nature and tradition. Ideally situated, it is within easy reach of Florence, Arezzo, Cortona, Punta Ala and its coastline, Orvieto, Perugia and a host of famous towns of remarkable historic and artistic interest in the province of Siena, such as San Gimignano, Pienza, San Quirico d'Orcia, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Monte Oliveto and Colle Val d'Elsa.

Guests at the Residence may also freely visit the historic garden and park of the nearby Villa of "Vico Bello". Dating to the seventeenth century, and recently restored to its original splendour, from here we can enjoy one of the finest views over Siena and the surrounding area, stretching as far as Monte Amiata, the Colline Metallifere and Chianti.
